Our club has been at the heart of the Hoyland Community since 1874. We run 16 junior cricket teams as well as 9 open age teams, including 3x women’s and girls’ only teams. In the last ten years we have trained several junior coaches, that even deliver sessions in the local junior schools. The consequence of this is that our club is thriving, and our junior section has over 100 children (including 4 girls’ only teams). We are also proud to have delivered out ‘All Stars’ cricket programme in the Community for a large number of 5–8-year-olds.

We are a completely self-financed, non-profit making organisation and rely heavily on grants and private sponsorship.

We absolutely appreciate that as a successful business, you probably receive several “begging letters” per year, so we promise not to be insulted if you choose to decline our proposal, but we would very much hope that you would be interested in helping us with our endeavours in the local community by taking one of our sponsorship packages.

Even if you can help us out with a match ball, it really would be a massive help to the club, and will go a long way towards keeping many children and adults playing sport in the local community.

JUNIOR PLAYER SPONSORSHIP – £25

Choose your favourite player and follow them throughout the season.
All names, photos and sponsors will feature on our website.
Sponsors will get a mention on our popular social media channels each time the player appears in match commentaries, team sheets or press reports.

MATCH BALL SPONSORSHIP – £30

As you can probably appreciate, with 25 teams playing games every week during the cricket season, we go through a large number of match balls which come at a considerable cost.
By sponsoring a match ball your company will be featured online via our website and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels as well as the local press wherever publishers allow.
We also invite sponsors to join us for tea, during the interval of their chosen match.

SENIOR PLAYER SPONSORSHIP – £50

Choose your favourite player and follow them throughout the season.
All names, photos and sponsors will feature on our website.
Sponsors will get a mention on our popular social media channels each time the player appears in match commentaries, team sheets or press reports.

ADVERTISING BOARD – £200 (then £100 for every subsequent year)

Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
We will place your logo on a 7ft * 3ft reinforced advertising board on our boundary fence.

CRICKET NETS SPONSORSHIP (2x available) – £500

Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
We will place your logo on a 3ft * 2ft tarpaulin at the back of our mobile cricket nets, meaning your business will be visible to all player and spectator during every training session throughout the season.

CORPORATE CRICKET PACKAGE – £500

Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
Why not come and play some cricket on our field? It’s a great way to spend a summer evening.
We will provide equipment, refreshments an umpire and even some spare players if needed.

CRICKET COVERS (3x available) – £750

Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
We will place your logo on a 8m * 4m tarpaulin on top of one of our 3x cricket covers which are most often presented on the square when fixtures are not being played, and visible from the main roads.

OVERSEAS PLAYER SPONSORSHIP – £1000

We have an upcoming Zimbabwean cricketer who has been coached by former ZIM Test opening batsman, Stuart Matsikenyeri who we were lucky to have played with us during our 2017 campaign. Our overseas players are of a high standard, and generally feature in the press most weeks.
Your company will be heavily featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
We will place your logo on a 7ft * 3ft reinforced advertising board on our boundary fence.
We will create a professional, framed and signed photograph of our overseas player with you or your business.

PART CLUB SPONSORSHIP – £500 p.a. (2 years minimum – 6x available)

Sponsorship of either our adult, junior, or ladies sections.
Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
We will place your logo on a 7ft * 3ft reinforced advertising board on our boundary fence.
Your company logo will be printed on the shirt sleeve of playing and/or training shirts.

FULL CLUB SPONSORSHIP – £3000 p.a. (2 years minimum – 1x available)

Your company will be featured online via our website, and we will promote your business via our popular social media channels.
Your company logo will be printed on the front of all playing shirts and/or training shirts.
We will place your logo on a 7ft * 3ft reinforced advertising board on our boundary fence.
Your company name/logo will be printed on to our stumps for use in home cricket matches.

SPONSORED EVENTS

Aside from all the above, we would like to welcome you to join us for one of our Fundraising events. For example, we do an annual sponsored walk where we split funds evenly between the cricket club and our chosen charity (last year, was, a split between local mental health charity Project 14, and Positive about Down Syndrome). We also hold comedy evenings and a junior non-stop, “Cricket’Thon”.

WANT TO MAKE A DONATION INSTEAD?

With new guidelines published by the government in 2016, all companies can offset £2500 against corporation tax for donations to sporting organisations.
